Job Responsibilities:

A. Day-to-Day Operation

· Manage the day-to-day finance operations of the mill and take leadership around the financial

activities at the site.

· Manage the process of accounting, finance, cash flow, credit control and taxation for Thailand

entities together with the Finance Director

· Ensure controls are in place at the operations and in accordance to company policy and corporate

governance.

· Managing all finance and accounting operations.

B. Financial Planning and Analysis

· Budgeting: Developing, managing, and monitoring the organization’s annual budgets, ensuring

that financial resources are allocated effectively.

· Forecasting: Projecting future financial performance based on historical data, market trends, and

business strategies.

· Financial Modeling: Creating models to evaluate business decisions, investment opportunities,

and strategic initiatives.

· Variance Analysis: Analyzing discrepancies between actual and budgeted financial performance

and providing insights into the reasons for those variances.

C. Financial Reporting Preparation and Presentation

· Preparation of Financial Statements: Ensuring accurate and timely preparation of key financial

reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

· Presentation of the Financial results with insightful information and able to explain the key

variance vs. Budget and Last Year.

· Compliance: Ensuring that all financial reports comply with accounting standards, regulatory

requirements, and company policies.

· Internal and External Reporting: Presenting financial performance to senior management and

external stakeholders (e.g., investors, auditors, tax authorities).

D. Cash Flow Management

· Monitoring Cash Flow: Ensuring the company has enough liquidity to meet its operational needs

and making adjustments to cash flow as necessary.

· Managing Working Capital: Monitoring and managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and

inventory levels to maintain optimal working capital.

· Funding Management: Overseeing short-term and long-term financing needs, ensuring the

company has the necessary funding to meet its operational and growth objectives.

E. Cost Management and Control

· Cost Reduction: Identifying areas where the company can reduce costs or improve efficiency.

· Expense Monitoring: Analyzing and controlling business expenses, ensuring expenditures align

with the approved budget.

· Profitability Analysis: Assessing the profitability of various projects, departments, or products to

help direct focus on the most profitable ventures.

F. Risk Management

· Financial Risk Assessment: Identifying, evaluating, and mitigating financial risks that could affect

the business.

· Internal Controls: Implementing and monitoring internal control procedures to protect assets,

prevent fraud, and ensure the integrity of financial reporting.

· Compliance and Regulations: Staying updated on financial regulations and ensuring the

organization complies with all relevant laws and standards.

G. Strategic Decision-Making Support

· Business Strategy: Providing financial insights and recommendations to guide the organization’s

overall business strategy, expansion, and growth.

· Investment Analysis: Evaluating investment opportunities, including mergers, acquisitions, capital

expenditures, and new ventures.

· Financial Advice: Offering expert advice on financial decisions, such as financing options, risk-

taking, and budgeting strategies.

· Partner with Production Leads and Commercial Heads to drive the business growth and smooth

business operation.

H. Team Leadership and Collaboration

· Managing the Finance Team: Leading and mentoring the finance department, ensuring staff are

well-trained and motivated.

· Delegate tasks and manage the workload within the accounting department to meet deadlines.

· Conduct performance reviews and support professional development.

· Collaboration with Other Departments: Working closely with other departments (e.g., HR,

operations, marketing) to align financial goals with broader organizational objectives.

I. Tax Management

· Tax Planning and Compliance: Overseeing tax strategy, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and

minimizing tax liabilities.

· Tax Reporting: Ensuring that the company’s tax returns are accurately prepared and filed in a

timely manner.

J. Audit and Governance

· Internal and External Audits: Coordinating with internal and external auditors to ensure

transparency and accuracy in financial reporting.

· Governance: Establishing strong financial governance frameworks to ensure proper financial

management and accountability.

K. Performance Metrics

· Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Developing and tracking financial KPIs to monitor business

performance.

· Benchmarking: Comparing financial performance against industry standards and competitors to

identify areas for improvement.

Other related tasks as appointed by the management.

Academic/ Professional Qualifications

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field; professional accounting

qualifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are highly desirable.

· Strong command of English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

· Familiarity with financial software systems; experience with ERP or reporting tools is an

advantage.

· CPA and/or CFA certification is a plus.

Relevant Experience

· Minimum 8 years’ accounting/Finance experience with at least 5 years in managerial levels

· In-depth knowledge of International accounting standards, Accounting Legislation including

Taxation

· Self-motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills

· Good Leadership and management skill

· Ability to guide and train site personnel in aspects of accounting and finance
